Stable names Spider and Bramble. These ponies are lucky to have a new sponsor, Dudley Wheatcroft of AD Photography of Chesterfield in Derbyshire for the 2008 season and will run with his prefix at all their shows and events. Owned by Carole and Jeff Davenport who also have Tarmac and Adam. 2008 will be Mag and Pie's first proper season as they only did 5 shows last year as new 4yr olds. As they are still very young they will be taking the season steadily and building up as the season progresses to faster and faster times. Bramble (the piebald) is a Dartmoor Hill pony and was bought for £25 as a scared little wild foal from the moors whereas Spider was bred in the purple at the Rumworth stud but his breeder told Carole that as a foal he was the most evil, naughty little thing and she was glad to see him go ! Unfortunately he must have been a little so and so as he went through 3 homes before Carole bought him very, very cheaply as a 3yr old and driving seems to have been his saviour. He just loves it and has teamed up with Bramble and they have become inseparable
